Tehilla received her M.S. in Nursing from Chamberlain University after attending Thomas Edison State University for her B.S.N. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Basic Life Support/CPR certified.

Tehilla enjoys spending her free time with her family and volunteering for a community cancer home care group.
